Hollywood: Four Injured in Collision on 101 Freeway
At about 2:40 a.m. on Friday, April 26, four people were injured in a crash on the 101 Freeway in Hollywood. The collision, which involved three vehicles, occurred in southbound lanes at Hollywood Boulevard. Emergency responders had to extricate two victims from the wreckage; they suffered major trauma and were taken to an area hospital. Two other people suffered minor injuries and were also hospitalized. The California Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
“When motorists are injured in a collision, the at-fault driver may be held liable for the expense of their recoveries through the injury claims process,” explained California car accident lawyer James Ballidis.
The California Office of Traffic Safety indicates that 72,010 people were killed or injured in crashes that occurred in Los Angeles County in 2010. The OTS ranked Los Angeles 15th out of 58 counties for the number of fatal and injury traffic accidents that occurred there that year; 1st place is the worst possible ranking.
All of us at Allen, Flatt, Ballidis, and Leslie would like to wish a full recovery to the four people who were injured in the crash on the 101 Freeway.
