San Jacinto: Two Injured in DUI Crash
At about 10 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23, two people were injured in a DUI crash in San Jacinto. While traveling westbound on the Ramona Expressway in a Honda Accord, 32-year-old Paul Anthony King ran a red light and collided with two motorists. Emergency responders transported two people to area hospitals to receive treatment for their injuries. Authorities arrested King on suspicion of driving under the influence.
“Drivers who injure others while intoxicated face criminal charges and civil actions,” explained California car accident lawyer James Ballidis, “as the state will penalize them for breaking the law and the victims will seek compensation for the cost of their recoveries.”
Traffic accidents claimed the lives of or caused injury to 143 people in San Jacinto in 2010, according to the California Office of Traffic Safety’s most current records. Alcohol was a contributing factor to 20 of the crashes that resulted in injury or death in the city that year.
All of us at Allen, Flatt, Ballidis, and Leslie would like to wish a full recovery to the two people who were injured in the DUI crash.
