At around 12:40 a.m. on Tuesday, January 3rd, a suspected drunk driver caused the crash that killed Angelo Bowers and seriously injured Josh Adam Meyers, two comedians who performed frequently throughout Los Angeles. While traveling near the intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and Argyle Avenue, the 21-year-old man collided with another vehicle and fled the scene. He proceeded to crash into the vehicle occupied by Bowers and Meyers at the intersection of Vine Street and Yucca Street, explains a California personal injury lawyer. They were transported to a local hospital, where Bowers succumbed to his injuries. The suspected drunk driver was also injured and is expected to be booked for murder once his condition improves, reported KTLA-TV.
