At about 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 5th, two people were injured in a rollover truck accident in Anaheim Hills. While traveling in the fast lane of the westbound 91 Freeway, a Ford F-150 truck blew a tire, which caused the vehicle to swerve across all lanes of traffic and roll down an embankment. Firefighters used the “Jaws of Life” to extricate the driver and the passenger. Paramedics transported them to a hospital to receive treatment for their injuries.
“Passengers who are injured in collisions may seek compensation from the at-fault driver for expenses associated with their recovery,” explained an auto accident attorney in Orange County, “including for medical bills, lost wages, and pain and suffering.”
Anaheim accounted for 13 of the 101 fatalities and 2,769 of the 16,620 injuries suffered by motor vehicle occupants in crashes that occurred in Orange County in 2009, according to the California Highway Patrol’s Statewide Integrated Traffic Records System. That year, Anaheim ranked 4th out of 13 cities with similar-sized populations for fatal and injury collisions in a California Office of Traffic Safety ranking system in which 1st place is considered the worst.
All of us at Allen, Flatt, Ballidis, and Leslie would like to wish a full recovery to the two people who were injured in the rollover truck accident today.
