At about 6 a.m. on Saturday, September 15, a minivan struck and fatally injured 21-year-old pedestrian Humberto Twobulls, of Montana, in Wildomar. The accident occurred near Clinton Keith Road and Iodine Springs Road. Emergency responders transported him to a hospital, were he succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday.
“After a fatal accident, the family of the victim may hold the negligent party accountable for their loss by pursuing a wrongful death claim,” explained California personal injury lawyer James Ballidis.
Wildomar accounted for none of the 31 fatalities and 2 of the 370 injuries suffered by pedestrians in traffic accidents that occurred in Riverside County in 2010, according to the California Highway Patrol’s Statewide Integrated Traffic Records System. That year, pedestrian fatalities in the state increased 5.4 percent from 567 in 2009 to 599.
All of us at Allen, Flatt, Ballidis, and Leslie would like to offer our condolences to the family of Humberto Twobulls, the pedestrian who was struck and fatally injured last Saturday.
