Corona: Passenger Ethan Elliot Gray Killed in Crash

By

At about 5:30 p.m. on Monday, December 24, 22-year-old Ethan Elliott Gray, of Chino Hills, was killed in a crash in Corona. While traveling near the 4200 block of Green River Road in a 2003 Honda S2000 coupe, 19-year-old Elbert Chen, of Chino Hills, veered from the road and slammed into a tree. Emergency responders transported Gray to an area hospital, where he died a short time later. Authorities are investigating the accident.

“When a passenger is killed in a collision, his or her family may hold the at-fault driver liable for their loss through the civil claims process,” explained California car accident lawyer James Ballidis.

In 2010, 396 motor vehicle occupants lost their lives or were injured in crashes that occurred in Corona, according to the California Office of Traffic Safety. Statewide, California’s traffic fatalities increased 2.6 percent, from 2,720 in 2010 to 2,791 in 2011.

All of us at Allen, Flatt, Ballidis, and Leslie would like to offer our condolences to the family of Ethan Elliot Gray, the passenger who was killed in the crash.
