Mecca: Two-Vehicle Collision Injured Nine

By

Shortly after 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 2, a two-vehicle collision injured nine people in Mecca. The crash, which occurred at the intersection of Highway 86 Expressway and Highway 195, sent three vehicle occupants to area hospitals for trauma ranging from minor to moderate. Six other victims sustained minor injuries. Authorities are investigating the accident.

“After a collision causing injury, the victims may file personal injury claims against the at-fault driver in order to obtain compensation for the cost of their recoveries,” explained California car accident lawyer James Ballidis.

Throughout Riverside County, traffic accidents killed or injured 11,417 people in 2010, according to the California Office of Traffic Safety. The OTS ranked Riverside 46th out of 58 counties for its incidence of fatal and injury crashes that year in a rating system in which 1st place is considered the worst.

All of us at Allen, Flatt, Ballidis, and Leslie would like to wish a full recovery to the nine people who were injured in the two-vehicle collision.
