Castroville: Three-Vehicle Collision Injured Ten

By

At about 7 p.m. on Saturday, February 16, a three-vehicle collision injured ten people in Castroville. The crash occurred at the intersection of Highway 183 and Espinosa Road. Emergency responders extricated several people from the wreckage and transported them to area hospitals. At least three victims suffered major trauma. Authorities are investigating the crash.

“After a collision, those who were injured may file personal injury claims against the negligent driver in order to receive compensation for expenses associated with their recoveries,” explained California car accident lawyer James Ballidis, “such as for medical bills, lost wages, and pain and suffering.”

Throughout Monterey County, 2,045 people were killed or injured in traffic accidents in 2010, according to the California Office of Traffic Safety. The OTS ranked Monterey 52nd out of 58 counties for its incidence of fatal and injury accidents in a rating system in which 1st place is considered the worst.

All of us at Allen, Flatt, Ballidis, and Leslie would like to wish a full recovery to the ten people who were injured in the three-vehicle collision.

The Monterey County Herald originally reported this Castroville crash.
