Thousand Palms: Four Injured in Multiple-Vehicle Collision

By

At about 10:35 a.m. on Monday, March 11, four people were injured in a multiple-vehicle collision in Thousand Palms. The crash, which involved three cars, occurred on eastbound Interstate 10 near Bob Hope Drive. The impact caused a fire in one of the vehicles and, consequently, one of its occupants to sustain moderate burns. The victim was transported to an area hospital, as were three others who suffered minor injuries. Authorities are investigating the crash.

“After a motor vehicle crash, the victims may seek compensation for the expense of their recoveries through the civil claims process,” explained California car accident lawyer James Ballidis.

In 2010, the California Office of Traffic Safety recorded 11,417 collisions that resulted in injury or death in Riverside County. The OTS ranked Riverside 46th out of 58 counties for its incidence of fatal and injury crashes in a rating system in which 1st place is considered the worst.

All of us at Allen, Flatt, Ballidis, and Leslie would like to wish a full recovery to the four people who were injured in the multiple-vehicle collision.
