Hemet: Passenger Injured in Truck Rollover Crash

By

Shortly before 3 a.m. on Friday, June 7, a passenger was injured in a truck rollover crash in Hemet. While traveling eastbound on Domenigoni Parkway, the pickup truck veered into the dirt median and spun out as it re-entered the road, ejecting the passenger before it rolled over him. Emergency responders transported him to an area hospital, along with the driver, who sustained minor injuries. The accident is under investigation.

“Passengers who are hurt in collisions may file personal injury claims against the negligent driver,” explained California car accident lawyer James Ballidis, “in order to be compensated for recovery-related expenses.”

In 2010, 454 people were killed or injured in crashes that occurred in Hemet, according to the California Office of Traffic Safety. The OTS ranked Hemet 13th out of 103 similarly sized cities for its incidence of fatal and injury crashes in a rating system in which 1st place is considered the worst.

All of us at Allen, Flatt, Ballidis, and Leslie would like to wish a full recovery to the driver and passenger who were injured in the truck rollover crash.

The Press-Enterprise originally reported this Hemet accident.

Additional information on the injury claims process is available to the public free of charge through our office’s auto accident webpage.
