By

At about 10 p.m. on Saturday, August 24, one person was killed and four were injured in a crash in Jurupa Valley. The collision, which involved three vehicles, occurred on Rubidoux Boulevard south of El Rivino Road. Emergency responders transported four people to area hospitals. Witnesses, or anyone with information about the accident, are asked to call traffic investigators at 951-955-2600.

“The victims of a traffic collision, or their surviving family members, may file civil claims against the at-fault party in order to be compensated for expenses associated with their recoveries or losses,” explained California car accident lawyer James Ballidis.

In 2010, 11,417 people were killed or injured in traffic accidents in Jurupa Valley, according to the California Office of Traffic Safety. The OTS ranked Riverside 46th out of 58 counties for its incidence of collisions that resulted in injury or death; 1st place is the worst possible ranking. Across the state, 2,720 people lost their lives in collisions that year.

All of us at Allen, Flatt, Ballidis, and Leslie would like to offer our condolences to the family of the person who was killed in the crash. We would also like to wish a full recovery to the four people who were injured.
