At about 3 a.m. on Saturday, September 15, a car accident injured three people in Idyllwild. The two-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of Riverside County Playground Road and Pine Crest Avenue in the San Jacinto Mountains. Emergency responders transported three victims, one by helicopter, to the hospital. Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
“After a motor vehicle collision resulting in injury, the victims may seek compensation from the negligent party for the expense of their recovery,” explained California car accident attorney James Ballidis, “including for medical bills, lost wages, and pain and suffering.”
Throughout Riverside County, motor vehicle crashes claimed the lives of 164 occupants and injured another 10,594 in 2010, according to the California Highway Patrol’s Statewide Integrated Traffic Records System. That year, 1,076 of the fatal and injury collisions occurred between 9 p.m. and 2:59 a.m. Statewide, 3,081 people lost their lives in crashes.
