At about 7 p.m. on Sunday, April 28, three people were injured in a truck crash on Interstate 215 in Perris. While traveling near the D Street exit, the driver of a black GMC pickup truck collided with the k-rail on the side of the freeway, causing the vehicle to rollover. Emergency responders extricated one male occupant from the wreckage, transporting him and two others to the hospital to receive treatment for moderate trauma. The crash is under investigation.
“When vehicle occupants are injured in a collision, they may file personal injury claims against the negligent party in order to hold him or her liable for their recovery-related expenses,” explained California car accident lawyer James Ballidis.
Traffic accidents claimed the lives of or caused injury to 148 people in Perris in 2010, according to the California Office of Traffic Safety. The OTS ranked Perris 92nd out of 103 similarly sized cities for its incidence of fatal and injury crashes in a rating system in which 1st place is considered the worst.
All of us at Allen, Flatt, Ballidis, and Leslie would like to wish a full recovery to the three people who were injured in the truck crash on Interstate 215.
