At about 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 18th, a vehicle slammed into the Dr. Rabi dental clinic in Reseda, injuring six people, three of them seriously. The crash occurred in the 6800 block of North White Oak Avenue when an older-model Buick crashed through the front of the office, striking a pedestrian and pinning two employees in the building. Paramedics transported the three critically injured people to the hospital, while three others received medical attention at the scene and were released. Authorities are investigating the accident.
“After an accident causing injury, the negligent party, or his or her insurance company, may be obligated to compensate the victims for expenses incurred during treatment and recovery,” explained California personal injury attorney James Ballidis.
Traffic accidents claimed the lives of 589 people and injured another 73,107 throughout Los Angeles County in 2009, according to the California Highway Patrol’s Statewide Integrated Traffic Records System. That year, pedestrians suffered 177 of the fatalities and 5,215 of the injuries.
All of us at Allen, Flatt, Ballidis, and Leslie would like to wish a full recovery to the six people who were injured when the vehicle slammed into the Dr. Rabi dental clinic.
