Riverside: Harold Stinson Killed in 91 Freeway Crash

At about 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24, 56-year-old Harold Stinson, of Twin Peaks, was killed in a multiple-vehicle crash on the 91 Freeway in Riverside. The collision, which involved five vehicles, including the SUV Stinson was driving, occurred on the eastbound side of the freeway near Jackson Street. Two other people suffered minor injuries. The accident is under investigation.

“After a fatal crash, the family of the victim may file a wrongful death claim against the negligent driver in order to hold him or her liable for their loss,” explained California car accident attorney James Ballidis.

The city of Riverside accounted for 15 of the 164 fatalities and 1,898 of the 10,594 injuries suffered by motorists in collisions that occurred in the county in 2010, according to the California Highway Patrol’s Statewide Integrated Traffic Records System. Across the state, 2,720 people were killed in motor vehicle collisions that year.

All of us at Allen, Flatt, Ballidis, and Leslie would like to offer our condolences to the family of Harold Stinson, the man who was killed in the crash on the 91 Freeway.
