Shortly before 11 a.m. last Wednesday, 23-year-old Deanna Mauer was killed in a car accident on the 405 Freeway in Westminster. The collision was triggered when a 2006 Toyota failed to stop for traffic, crashing into the back of Mauer’s 2006 Hyundai, the impact causing it to rear-end a Porsche. The Toyota and the Hyundai subsequently crashed into the center divider. Paramedics transported Mauer to a nearby hospital, were she was pronounced dead shortly before 6 p.m., explains an Orange County auto accident attorney.
